Our People

Our surveyors and inspectors are all highly qualified in their respective fields, with our senior personnel having over 20 years experience working in the key competencies of the oil and gas (both offshore and onshore) industries.
These key competencies are Mechanical, Electrical, Well Control/Subsea, Marine/Naval Architecture, OCTG, Lifting/Lifted, and Pre-load Out.

Our Lifting/Pre-load Out and OCTG technicians and inspectors are accredited with the following qualifications:

  • AINDT Level II

  • ASNT Level II

  • Internal and External training courses

This approach of offering specialized services enables our clients to obtain the maximum efficiency out of our surveyors and inspectors, as it permits a much higher level of dedicated service to our clients.

RIS has a comprehensive Quality System that includes Working Procedures as well as a HSE system, which all our personnel work and abide to at all times.

Health & Safety

RIS is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all its personnel and others involved in its operations.

The principal health and safety objectives for RIS are as follows:

  • Zero  injuries or health related incidents

  • No environmental incidents

  • 100% compliance with all site facilities requirements

  • No loss of operational productivity

While our personnel are required to travel to various locations for projects, both offshore and onshore, it is
essential that they be medically fit before embarkation.

For this reason, RIS ensures that every personnel undergoes a UKOOA Offshore Medical test to obtain a clean bill of health. For the purpose of engaging in offshore projects, RIS also ensures that our personnel have up-to-date Helicopter Underwater Escape / Emergency Training (HUET) certification.

RIS maintains high standards of professionalism with company and client QHSE policies and all personnel are responsible for adhering to the system and proactively reporting or responding to safety concerns and incidents.
Successful implementation of RIS’ health and safety policies requires for our personnel to demonstrate leadership and commitment to both RIS and clients' HSE systems and procedures.
